The Coosa Eagles baseball team started their region schedule with a 4-2 victory over the Trion Bulldogs Tuesday night.
Coosa’s starting pitcher Gavin East pitched seven full innings allowing five hits and two runs earning the victory.
East also went 2 for 4 at the plate
Ryan Smith led the Eagles with 2 RBIs after going 1 for 3 with a walk at the plate.
