Rontavis Stephen Stripling Sr, 27 of Atlanta, was jailed in Rome after he allegedly conspired with Ronique Stripling and Kenoynia Stripling to provide contraband at a detail location to smuggle into the Floyd County Prison.
Reports said that recorded phone calls between Ronique and Rontavis provided a cellphone and charger to Keyonia. Kenyonia then packaged those items along with 55.24 grams of tobacco and rolling papers into a Pringle’s potato chip canister. She then placed that canister at the Bartow County Recycling Center to be retrieved and smuggled back into the Floyd County Prison.
Stripling is charged with felony conspiracy to commit a felony and items prohibited by an inmate.
