Brooke Cheyenne Reynolds, 22 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she passed counterfeit $100 bills at various restaurants around town.
On December 3, 2022, police said that she purchased $10 in pizza from Little Caesars with a counterfeit $100 bill. She then received $90 in cash back before leaving the store.
Then on December 14, 2022 she tried to pay for her food at Zaxby’s on Shorter Avenue with a counterfeit $100 bill.
Police were called to the scene and Reynolds allegedly gave them a fake name. She is accused of identifying herself as her sister, along with giving her birthdate as her own. Officers went on to say that she proceeded to flee the scene.
Finally, on February 16 of this year, Reynolds is accused of stealing $384.21 worth of merchandise from the West Rome Walmart.
It was also discovered that she had beebn driving on a suspended license, without insurance and a valid registration.
Reynolds is charged with three counts 1st degree forgery, 2nd degree forgery, theft by deception, theft by shoplifting, giving false information to police, driving on a suspended license, driving a vehicle on suspended registration, and driving without insurance.
