Christine Elizabeth Holman, 36 of Montgomery, was jailed in Rome after she allegedly stole a 1995 Honda Accord from a home on Doyal Road.
Reports added that after using the vehicle, Holman never returned it despite pleas from the owner to do so.
The incident occurred back on May of last year.
Holman is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle and failure to appear.
