Gary Dewayne Ingram, 41 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he violated a court order and sent threatening and harassing messages to the victim’s boyfriend.
He is also accused of throwing sockets at the victim, striking him in the face while making threats to hurt him.
The incident occurred in late October of last year.
Ingram is charged with aggravated stalking, battery, simple assault and two counts terroristic threats and acts.
