Michael Tyler Spears, 25 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he kidnapped his girlfriend at a home on Smith Road.
Reports added that Spears proceeded to repeatedly grab the victim around the head and neck while biting her face numerous times. Resulting in visible injuries.
He is then accused of using his hands to strangle her to the point she lost consciousness.
During his arrest at Evans Food Mart on Alabama Highway, police said they found him in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
Spears is charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping, possession of methamphetamine and two counts battery.

The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office has aked for the community’s help in locating Michael Tyler Spears.
According to reports, Spears has been added to the “Top 10 Most Wanted” list and is considered very dangerous.
He is wanted for

· FVA Kidnapping
· FVA Battery
