Nancy Jane Smith, 70 of Silver Creek, was charged with the death of another when she allegedly failed to yield the right of way and turned left into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
Police said that 25 year-old Justin Little, of Summerville, was killed in the accident. Little was a passenger in the vehicle that Smith struck.
Smith is charged with homicide by vehicle and failure to yield the right of way.

According to Floyd County Police Sgt. Chris Fincher a 25 year-old Summerville man, Justin Little, was killed in a two vehicle accident Sunday on Ga 101 in Silver Creek.
Reports said that Little was a front-seat passenger in a Toyota Camry heading north on Ga. 101 when a southbound Chevy Equinox turned into a mini-mart, and into the path of the Camry.
The driver of the Camry has been identified as Sherrie Little, 49, also of Summerville.
The Chevy Equinox was driven by Nancy Smith, 70, of Silver Creek. Three passengers, Larry Smith, 77 of Silver Creek, and Kaitlyn Smith, 21, of Cave Spring, were both passengers of Smith.
The investigation is ongoing with charges pending.
