Willie Franklin Kent, 66 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he took drugs with him inside the Floyd County Jail after being arrested for pedestrian under the influence.
Reports added that after arriving at the jail, Kent was found with marijuana inside his sock.
Kent is charged with pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs, possession of marijuana and crossing the guard line with drugs.
