Kyle Stewart Maddox, 25 of Armuchee, was arrested this week after reports said he broke into his previous home on Hatfield Road and stole two electric guitars.
Police said that Maddox then proceeded to sell one of the guitars to a store on Martha Berry Highway.
Reports said that the guitars were valued at 4750.
Maddox is charged with first degree burglary, theft by taking and theft by deception.
