Jesse Derek Jinks, 35 of Knoxville, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he forged a check for the amount of $1,843.81.
Reports added that Jinks proceeded to cash the check at the Coosa Valley Credit Union on Redmond Road.
The forgery occurred back in March of this year.
Jinks is charged with third degree forgery.
