Adam Samuel Trammell, 36 of Summerville, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he told a woman that he would “punch her teeth down her throat.”
The victim told police that she was placed in fear of her safety.
The incident occurred at a home on Bells Ferry Road.
Trammell is charged with simple assault.
