Jakobie Jiquan Adams, 18 of Rome, was jailed on numerous felony drug and weapon charges after trying to run from police during a search of a home on Conifer Ring.
Police said that Adams attempted to flee from police out of a back window. While exiting, he allegedly dropped a revolver and a backpack that was found with a large amount of marijuana. A search of the home then led police to find additional marijuana, a Glock 23 gun, multiple firearms, three 30-round magazines, and Gabapentin pills. The items were all found in a room from which Adams attempted to run from.
Adams is charged with felony obstruction of police, sale or distribution of dangerous drugs, possession of drug-related objects, two counts of possession and distribution of marijuana, and two counts of possession of a gun during the commission of a crime.
