Ryan Keith Easterwood, 30 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attacked a woman who was sitting in her car on Maple Road.
Police said that Easterwood reached through an opened car window and grabbed the victim around the chin and cheek and began to squeeze.
Easterwood then proceeded to break the driver’s side car window before attacking the woman even more.
The incident occurred in front of three children, ages 7 months, 5 years and 7 years of age.
Easterwood is charged with simple battery, cruelty to children, criminal trespass and obstruction.
