Jason Vance Hogue, 38 of Kennesaw, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he encoded a credit card without authorization and then made purchases at the East Rome Walmart.
Police said that on February 25, 2020 Hogue bought a TV, sound bar and another item totaling $524.27.
The next day, Hogue went back to the store and used the encoded credit card to purchase a bed in a bag, Dirt Devil vacuum, 2 sets of hangers, juice, drinks and a few misc items totaling $267.72.
Hogue is charged with two counts of forgery of a financial transaction card and two counts financial transaction card fraud.
