David Wayne Wooten, 58 of Breman, was jailed in Rome after placing a 50 year-old female in fear of her safety.
The victim told police that Wooten “stepped toward her in a way that placed her in fear of her safety”. The incident occurred during a verbal dispute at Albion Drive.
Wooten is charged with simple assault.
