Shaddric Dexter Powell, 36 of Rome, turned himself into police this week after reports said he attempted to murder a woman who allegedly stole $500 from him.
Reports said that Powell discharged a .40 caliber handgun at the victim, firing multiple rounds at the victim.
The incident occurred at 1439 North Broad Street back on May 14, 2020.
Powell is charged with aggravated assault.
