Rome Man Charged with Stealing from Numerous Businesses

Bryan Scott Mazzo, 28 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stole from numerous businesses in West Rome.

Police said that on July 27^th, Mazzo is accused of burglarizing the West Rome Trading Post. Arrest warrants said that Mazzo was captured on camera dragging a blanket with items wrapped inside out of the front door without paying. Mazzo is also accused of damaging the back door to the building to gain entry.

Then on August 7^th, Mazzo is accused of stealing eight Dewalt drills totaling $2,062 from Lowes. 

Mazzo is charged with first degree burglary, theft by taking, felony theft by shoplifting and criminal damage to property in the 2^nd degree.
