A 45 year-old homeless Lindale man, Gary Lamar Collins, was arrested this week after reports said he engaged in sexual online conversations with someone he thought to be under the age of 16 years-old.
Police said that Collins asked the “child” for nude photographs before arranging a meet up location for the two to have sexual relations.
Reports went on to say that when Collins arrived at the location he was taken into custody. Police added that Collins was found in possession of methamphetamine.
After arriving at the jail, Collins threatened violence, stating, “ open the fu***** door, I’ll fu***** show you. I’m coming for you bit**.”
Collins is charged with child molestation, sexual exploitation of a child, obscene internet contact with a child use of a computer to solicit a child to commit a crime, terroristic threats, and possession of methamphetamine.
