James Thomas Mathis, 32 of Cave Spring, was arrested this week after reports said he injured a woman’s arm and hand during an altercation on Cedartown Highway.
Police said that Mathis grabbed the victim’s arm and hand during the altercation. The victim reportedly was left with bruises on both.
Mathis is charged with battery.
