A homeless 58 year-old Rome man, Anthony Dewayne Hightower, was arrested this week after reports said he displayed his sex organ for the public to see.
Police stated that when they arrived on scene, Hightower “committed an act that placed an officer in fear of receiving a violent injury”.
Hightower was taken into custody near the intersection of Butler Street and Pennington Avenue.
He is charged with public indecency and simple assault.
