Aaliyah Nicole Walraven, 18 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she gave police a fake identity while being taken into custody for shoplifting at Walmart.
Police added that after arriving at the jail, Walraven proceeded to sign documents with the fake identity.
Walraven is charged with theft by shoplifting, false statement and writings and giving false information to police.
