Floyd County authorities confirmed that 51 year-old Charles David Duncan, of Silver Creek, was killed in a motorcycle accident around 10pm Friday night.
Reports said that Duncan was leaving the Sports Page on Dean Street and was heading north when he struck the rear of a truck that was stopped to make a turn onto the interchange of US 411.
The investigation is ongoing, but no charges were filed against the driver of the truck.
Duncan was transported to Atrium Floyd where he was pronounced dead just before 11 pm.
The driver of the truck was uninjured in the accident.
