Rome Woman Jailed for Jumping Store Counter, Stealing Cash

Lessie Leann Donaldson, 47 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she jumped over the counter of S&S Food Mart on Shorter Avenue and stole money.

Police said that Donaldson stole nearly $825 of cash from the cash register back on July 16^th.

Donaldson is charged with theft by taking.
