A 29 year-old homeless Rome man, Tyler Jon Bailey, was arrested this week when police said he led them on a foot chase after they found him in possession of methamphetamine.
Police said that the meth was located in a cup holder of the vehicle while Bailey was sitting inside.
Reports added that when police began to question Bailey, he jumped out and fled on foot.
The incident occurred back on June 28th at a location on Shorter Avenue.
Bailey is charged with possession of meth, obstruction and two counts probation violation.
