Surerome Denise Hunter, 45 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she broke into a governmental housing unit and attacked a 42-year-old man with a lamp.
Reports stated that after entering the property on Dellvue Place without permission Hunter attacked the victim with the lamp, resulting in visible injuries to his head.
Hunter is charged with first-degree burglary, aggravated assault, battery and interference with government property.
