Chattanooga Woman Jailed for Stealing U-Haul Truck in Rome

Ashley Hope Tackett, 36 of Chattanooga, was arrested in Rome after she stole a U-Haul truck from a location on Shorter Avenue.

Reports said that Tackett rented the truck on May 20^th under the terms she would return the truck on May 22^nd.  After not returning the truck, Tackett was sent a letter to return the truck, which she failed to do so.

Tackett is charged with theft by taking.
