Ja’Kobe Jiquan Adams, 17 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he shot another person at the East Rome McDonalds.
Police said that the gun went off and then struck the victim in the leg.
The incident occurred just after 9 pm on Sunday.
Adams is charged with reckless conduct, discharge of a firearm on the property of another and possession of a handgun by a person under the age of 18 years.
