William Troy Anderson, 47 of Calhoun, was arrested this week after reports said he held a box cutter to his wife’s throat and told her that he was going to “slice her open” if she did not tell the truth.
Anderson then allegedly grabbed the victim by the throat with his hands and began to choke her.
Anderson had previously been told by the courts to stay away from the victim.
Anderson is charged with aggravated assault, simple battery, aggravated stalking and probation violation.
