Christopher Lee Fisher, 53 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he became disorderly in public while intoxicated.
Police said that Fisher went to the front yard of another person and began to start a fight with the victim.
Police went on to say that Fisher was also in possession of a firearm during the incident.
Fisher is charged with city drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
