Christy Lynn Green, 51 of Rome, was jailed on drug charges after police said they pulled over her over for not wearing a seat belt.
Officers stated that they pulled her over on Rockmart Highway near Saddle Mountain for the traffic violation. While speaking with Green they discovered that she was also driving on a suspended license.
While taking her into custody, officers said, they found her in possession of suspected Xanax, cocaine, and a smoking device containing drug residue.
Green is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug-related objects, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, driving on a suspended license and a seat belt violation.
