Ciprian Neamtu, 36 of Rome, was arrested this week after leading police on a high speed chase down Leafmore Road.
Reports stated that Neamtu failed to stop for a routine traffic stop when he instead attempted to flee at high rates of speed. Police said that Neamtu reached speeds of over 35 mph the posted limit.
Neamtu is charged with failure to maintain lane, open container, speeding, two stop sign violations, reckless driving, obstruction and attempting to elude police.
