Chasity Coursey Cromer, 47 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she hit her husband in the face during a dispute at their home on East 9th Street.
Reports said that Cromer hit the man so hard it resulted in him suffering a black eye.
Cromer is charged with battery.
