A convicted sex offender, Robert Wayne Camp Jr, 50 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he failed to notify authorities that he moved residences within the proper time frame.
Authorities stated that sex offenders have 72 hours to report their change of address to the local sheriff’s office.
Camp is charged with failure to register as a sex offender and probation violation.
