Caleb Linwood Cain, 31 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he beat a woman in the face during an altercation on Eastland Court.
Police said that the victim suffered a blackened eye as well as facial bruising and swelling.
The incident occurred back on November 14, 2021.
Cain is charged with battery.
