On Sunday, February 20, 2022 Habitat for Humanity – Coosa Valley broke ground on their 58th home in North Rome.   ”This is not about charity and giving things away, it is not about trying to live someone’s life for them, it is giving someone the opportunity to build a future of strength and stability”, said Habitat Director, Betsy Allgood.

Surround by friends and family, Macy Bowers and Habitat Board members symbolically broke ground at 1400 Gordon Ave. A home provides roots, and once a family is well-rooted, all kinds of wonderful things will being to happen.
