An inmate at the Floyd County Jai, Isaac Gage Reynolds, of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found in possession of a stolen 9mm Kanik TP9 elite semi-automatic handgun.
Police said that the gun was reported stolen back on January 4 of this year.
Reynolds is charged with theft by receiving stolen property.

Two Rome men, Issaac Gage Reynolds, 20, and Chad Lee Jones, 36, were
arrested this week after a search of their home at 303 Rudy Street led police
to find a large amount of methamphetamine, marijuana and firearms.
Police said that several baggies of marijuana that was packed for resale was
found, as well as a bag of methamphetamine that was more than for personal
usage.
Police added that a digital scale was also found at the home.
Additionally, Reynolds was allegedly found in possession of clonazepam and a
large amount of cash.
Both are charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to
distribute, possession of drug related objects, possession of marijuana,
distribution of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and
possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Reynolds is charged with possession of schedule IV controlled substance.
