Markeya Kenyell Dukes, 29 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she set fire to an apartment on Dodd Blvd.
Police stated that Dukes endangered the lives of many others by her actions.
Dukes is charged with arson in the first degree and reckless conduct.
