Cynthia Kay Rendon, 50 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she was found in possession of a gun and drugs at a location on Riverbend Drive.
Reports stated that officers found a firearm, needles, glass smoking devices containing meth residue, loose alprazolam and a baggie of suspected meth inside her purse.
Rendon is charged with possession of meth, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of drug related objects, and drugs not in original container.
