Kevin Darnez Wofford, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stole a 12 pack of Corona and then threatened the arresting officer on the way to the jail.
Reports said that the theft occurred at the Circle K on Shorter Avenue.
The officer stated that while on the way to the jail Wofford told him, “I am going to OR bond out and then beat his a**”.
Wofford is charged with terroristic threats and acts and theft by shoplifting.
