Johnathan Veach Dockray, 42 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he fought with officers after being caught shoplifting at Walgreens.
Reports said that Dockray allegedly stole $157.90 worth of merchandise. When police attempted to take him into custody, he reportedly resisted and fought with officers.
Dockray is charged with theft by shoplifting, criminal trespass and obstruction.
