Kristopher Stephen Helm, 32 of Silver Creek, was jailed on drug charges after being stopped for a taillight being out on Maple Road.
Police said that when they stopped Helm they saw an opened can of alcohol inside the vehicle. While taking him into custody, they added that they also located methamphetamine.
Helm is charged with possession of meth, open container and improper tail light requirement.
