Terrence Denell Brackins, 31 of Alma, was booked into the Floyd County Jail this week after reports said he conspired with another person to sneak tobacco, marijuana and methamphetamine inside the Floyd County Prison.

Police said that Brackins, along with Leigh Anderson, attempted to drop contraband at a location on Civic Center Drive while on work detail in order to get back inside the prison.

The couple is accused of attempting to sneak in 121 grams of tobacco, 24 grams of marijuana and 7.8 grams of meth.

Brackins is charged with items prohibited by an inmate, use of communication facility in commission of a crime and conspiracy to commit a felony.
