Cracked Windsheild Leads to Rome Police Finding Large Amount of Meth

Andrew Allen Miller, 35 of Rome, was allegedly found with a large amount of methamphetamine after being stopped for a windshield violation.

Reports said that officers discovered that Miller had been driving on an expired registration on East 12^th Street when the stop was conducted.

Police said that they then learned that he had been driving on a suspended license.   While taking him into custody, officers said they located a baggie of meth in his pant pocket.

A search of the vehicle then led police to find a second bag of meth, a digital scale, and two smoking pipes containing drug residue.

Miller is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of drug related objects, driving on a suspended license and a window violation.
