Barry Lee Weems, 64 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said a he physically assaulted a 34 year-old woman and his wife during an altercation at his home on Lindberg Drive.
Reports said that Weems grabbed the 34 year-old female by the wrist and attempted to push her to the ground. Weems then proceeded t shove his wife while leaving the room.
The alleged incident also occurred in front of a child.
Police stated that when they arrived on scene Weems attempted to pull away and walk away from them.
Weems is charged with battery, simple assault, cruelty to children and obstruction.
