Phillip Edward House, 37 of Adairsville, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said that he left a woman in Cartersville and drove off without her.
Police added that he was later found in possession of marijuana and a scale used to sale or distribute the drug.
House is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle, possession or distribution or marijuana and possession of drug related objects.
