Arthur Hugh Redding, 31 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said he beat two victims with a lamp while he was holding a child.
Reports stated that victims reported that they feared for their life during the altercation, which occurred at his home on Ramblewood Drive.
Police added that Redding also grabbed one of the victims by the throat while hitting her face and shoving her against the wall.
Redding is charged with two counts aggravated assault, battery, simple battery, and cruelty to children in the 2nd degree.
