Anthony Blake Hampton, 25 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stole a 2009 Mitsubishi Galant from a home on Plainville Road.
The car was valued at $1,501.
Reports stated that the theft occurred back on October 17, 2018.
Hampton is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle.
