Greggory Crawford Jr, 33 of Rome, was arrested at his home on Bollen Avenue after police said they found him in possession of a stolen firearm.
Reports said that a search by probation officers led them to find a firearm, in which he was not allowed to possess due to him being a convicted felon. They then determined that the firearm had been stolen.
Crawford is charged with theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation.
