Kimberly Ann Bridges, 49 of Rome, and Anthony Brian Hicks, 40, were arrested this week after police said they found them in possession of three shopping carts, two hypodermic needles containing suspected meth and a digital scale.
Police said that they were found behind the First Baptist Church on Old Rockmart Road.
Authorities added that two of the shopping carts had been stolen from Dollar General and the third from Piggly Wiggly.
Bridges is charged with possession of meth, removal of a shopping cart and possession of drug related objects.
Hicks is charged with removal of a shopping cart, giving false information to police and probation violation.
