The Rome Floyd Mero Drug Task Force arrested nine people during a raid at 23 Stephens Street. Brent Jeremy McGaskey Sr, 41, Brent Jeremy McGaskey, Cotey Alan Koehler, Justin Lee Huston, Rebecca Ann Farren, 34, Samantha Diane McGaskey, 41, Antavious Taemon Gibson, 29, all of Rome, Charles Collin Cox, 37 of Carterville, and Joshua Thomas Irwin, 20 of Kingston,
Reports said that police found a large amount of heroin, packaging materials, needles, spoons containing drug residue and more.
Police added that they recovered heroin in the mailbox outside the home as well.
Cox is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of a schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute, drug trafficking, possession of drug related objects and crossing a guard line with drugs.
All McCaskey’s are charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance, sale or distribution of dangerous drugs and possession of a schedule I controlled substance.
Koehler is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of a schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute, drug trafficking, possession of drug related objects and obstruction.
Irwin is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance and possession of drug related objects.
Huston is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance, sale or distribution of dangerous drugs, possession of drug related objects and probation violation.
Farren is charged with drug trafficking, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of a schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of drug related objects and tampering with evidence.
Gibson is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance, sale or distribution of dangerous drugs, and possession of drug related objects.
